In September 2017, Bank of China successfully held the first “International Seminar on global sovereign investors and China's financial markets”. 29 representatives from the central bank, monetary authorities, sovereign wealth funds and international financial organizations from around the world attended the seminar. Nearly 50 delegates from abroad came from 27 countries and regions throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, and America.
